Hayravank
Hayravank monastery is located just northeast of the village of Hayravank along the southwest shores of Lake Sevan in the Gegharkunik Province of Armenia.
It has a quatrefoil cruciform central-plan structure with four semi-circular apses that intersect to create squinches for the octagonal drum and conical dome to stand above.
In 1980s. the monastery was renovated and the dome of church rebuilt. A number of habitation houses have been excavated. The earliest Early Bronze Age material which was found was a piece of black polished container.
More characteristic to the complex, are items referred to as the iron period - bronze, iron, bone and stone weapons, tools and jewelry. There were also discovered clay idols, vessels, fire-places and so on.
