Echmiadzin

Echmiadzin is the center of the Armenian Apostolic Church. The name Echmiadzin ''means came the only born''. Here is the Echmiadzin Cathedral, built immediately after the adoption of Christianity and the Museum of Treasures of Echmiadzin. In the halls of treasure, there are numerous artistic treasures, including the magnificent works of decorative art. Echmiadzin holds a unique position in Armenian and non-Armenian architecture history, because it reproduces the features of the Armenian arcitechture. Today it "incorporates more than one style of architecture".
